Newark Public Schools Closed on January 19 Due to Weather Conditions

NEWARK, NJ – Public Schools in Newark, NJ, have announced a closure for all schools on Friday, January 19, 2024, due to the forecasted inclement weather.

In response to the adverse weather conditions, the district’s Central Office will operate virtually. Essential personnel, however, are required to report to their respective locations at designated times.

This measure is taken to ensure the safety of students and staff while maintaining essential operations. Parents, students, and staff are advised to stay updated through the district’s communication channels for any further information.
