Motor Vehicle Accident in Baker County Involves Power Pole, No Serious Injuries Reported

This morning, deputies from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Wingville Lane and Highway 30. The incident involved a vehicle that slid through the intersection and collided with another vehicle, resulting in the shearing off of a power pole.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in the crash.

The response to the accident was a coordinated effort involving multiple agencies. The Baker County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Oregon State Police, Baker Rural Fire Rescue, Keating Rural Fire Protection District, Metro West Ambulance, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative, High Mountain Towing, and Five Star Towing.
