Man Assaulted and Robbed After Letting Stranger Into Astoria Boulevard Home

NEW YORK, NY — A 38-year-old man fell victim to a robbery within his own home, located near 104 Street and Astoria Boulevard. The incident occurred early on Wednesday when the victim welcomed an unknown individual into his residence.

Following a physical assault, the intruder absconded with the victim’s cellphone, electric bicycle, and $100, totaling approximately $915 in stolen property. The suspect, described as a male approximately 5’7” tall and 170 pounds with a light complexion and brown eyes, fled the scene. He was last observed wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Despite suffering minor injuries, the victim declined medical care. Authorities are currently investigating the robbery.
