New Jersey State Police Join with CUMAC Food Pantry to Combat Hunger in Passaic County

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ—In a recent community service initiative, troopers from the New Jersey State Police lent their support to the CUMAC Food Pantry in Passaic County, assisting in the organization’s efforts to provide food to residents in need.

CUMAC, Passaic County’s largest food pantry, operates with a mission to address hunger and its underlying causes with a comprehensive, trauma-informed strategy. It offers groceries and essential items to families and individuals facing hardship. Serving approximately 22,000 adults, 9,800 children, and 6,000 seniors annually, CUMAC’s operations are bolstered by 700 volunteers dedicating 3,300 hours to distribute over 1.2 million pounds of food each month.
