NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a series of robberies across the 33rd, 34th, and 44th Precincts.
The incidents reported between March 15 and April 6, involved the theft of personal property, including electric bicycles and cash, under threats of violence. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build, last observed wearing a dark ski mask and bright sweatshirt.
The first reported incident took place on March 15 at 5:00 PM, where a 35-year-old male was robbed of his bicycle at gunpoint in the 33rd Precinct. Following this, a 23-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed on March 17 at 8:06 PM in the 44th Precinct. Another attack on March 18 at 7:20 PM in the 33rd Precinct saw a 50-year-old male robbed of $1,300.
Subsequent robberies occurred on March 20, 22, and 24, with victims ranging in age from 42 to 28, involving the theft of electric bicycles and wallets. On April 6 at 5:20 PM, a 17-year-old was threatened and robbed by two individuals on a moped in the 33rd Precinct. In each incident, the perpetrators fled the scene, leaving the victims, fortunately, without serious injuries.
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to help identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for this pattern of crimes.
