ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—The Atlantic City Police Department has successfully apprehended Ronald Johnson, a 40-year-old man wanted for multiple offenses, including robbery and aggravated assault. Johnson was arrested on April 12 while carrying a handgun and 15 bags of heroin.

The arrest followed a sighting by Officers Anthony Nastasi and Nickolas Cardani on Atlantic Avenue, a day after a warrant was issued. Johnson had previously assaulted a woman during a robbery on April 11, using a handgun to strike her and demanding money before stealing her cell phone. The victim received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson is also wanted on a warrant from York, PA.
