Wilkes-Barre Man Rages and Threatens Woman Mowing Her Lawn

WILKES-BARRE, PA — The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department has reported an incident involving terroristic threats and harassment that occurred on the evening of May 16.

Malcolm Peoples, a resident of Wilkes-Barre, has been charged following a confrontation with a neighbor.

According to the police, officers were dispatched to a home on Custer Street at approximately 7:01 PM after receiving a report of threats made during a neighborhood dispute.

The 35-year-old female victim told officers that Peoples approached her while she was mowing her lawn and threatened her with physical harm, causing her to fear for her safety.

As the investigation continues, Peoples has been charged formally. The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department has not provided additional details about the nature of the threats.
