NEW YORK, NY – An early morning altercation on the northbound F train at Briarwood Station resulted in a 40-year-old man being hospitalized with minor injuries. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at approximately 3:30 AM, involved six assailants who attacked the victim, striking him multiple times in the head.
After the assault, the group of individuals exited the train at the 179th Street station and fled the scene on foot. The victim was subsequently transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
The New York City Police Department is actively seeking to identify and locate the suspects involved in this attack. Five of the suspects are described as males with medium complexions, and the sixth suspect is described as a female with a light complexion. The police have released media depicting the individuals, available through the DCPI, to aid in their identification.
