WILKES-BARRE, PA—A woman was arrested early Friday morning following a domestic dispute that resulted in physical assault. Wilkes-Barre City Police responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Regent Street at 1:11 AM.
Upon arrival, officers met with a 26-year-old male victim who reported that Stephanie Ramirez, also from Wilkes-Barre, had assaulted him and threatened to damage his property. The police confirmed the victim had visible injuries.
Ramirez was subsequently taken into custody and is awaiting arraignment. The incident has been officially classified as assault and harassment under IRC number 240107394.
