GREENSBURG, PA – A Westmoreland County man, Robert Easley, has been sentenced to 4 to 10 years in state prison following his conviction for illegal gun possession and drug charges. The sentencing was handed down by Judge Meagan Bilik-DeFazio on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Easley was arrested at a motel in North Huntingdon, where he was found in possession of drugs and a firearm, which he was prohibited from owning due to prior convictions in Michigan. The arrest occurred after Beaver County authorities received a tip about a missing girl, who was subsequently found with Easley at the motel in June 2022.

Charges against Easley included possession of a firearm prohibited, receiving stolen property, and two counts of drug possession. The court has credited him with time served. Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli acknowledged Assistant District Attorney Steven Reddy for his efforts in prosecuting the case.
