Caban, announced today the indictment of 18 alleged gang members involved in a series of violent crimes, including two murders and multiple shootings that injured ten people, eight of whom were innocent bystanders. The individuals charged are purported members of the H-Block/Billy’s Gang and Gates Fam street gangs.
These indictments detail a conspiracy to commit murder, weapon possession, and other related charges across three separate legal actions. This crackdown is part of a broader strategy to address youth violence and gang involvement, particularly as the city approaches the summer months—a period often marked by a spike in violent incidents.
