PHILADELPHIA, PA — A double shooting has been reported in the 16th District, occurring on the highway at 6xx N Preston St. The incident took place at approximately 1:08 AM. A 26-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right ankle and was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is currently stable.
A female victim was also injured during the shooting, sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported by police to the same hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Currently, no suspects have been apprehended in relation to the shooting, and no weapons have been found at the scene. The motive for the attack remains undetermined.
The case is under the investigation of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group, who are actively seeking information related to this violent incident.
