NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating suspects involved in a vandalism incident in the 17th Precinct. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024, at around 3:35 AM.
Authorities reported that four unidentified individuals vandalized the exterior of a building at 871 UN Plaza. The suspects used paint and posters to deface the property and were last seen fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle heading in an unknown direction. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with the vandalism.
The building is reported to be the German embassy, but this has not yet been confirmed.
The NYPD has released images of the suspects and is urging anyone with information about the incident or the individuals involved to come forward to assist in the investigation. The public can provide tips anonymously and help in identifying and locating the suspects responsible for this criminal mischief.
