Human Remains at Home of Convicted Pennsylvania Wife Killer Identified as Girlfriend

by Breaking Local News Report

JOHNSTOWN, PA — Authorities have confirmed that human remains found in a Johnstown apartment are those of Jilly Todaro, who was reported missing in December 2020. The apartment previously belonged to Brian Bradley Giles, recently convicted of another murder.

Giles, 48, was convicted on June 6 for the murder of his wife, Nancy Giles, who disappeared in October 2018 and was later discovered in a shallow grave. During the investigation of his wife’s disappearance, Giles was romantically involved with Todaro. Following his conviction, authorities revisited his former residence on Franklin Street in the Kernville neighborhood, acting on new information.

Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, with the assistance of a forensic odontologist and an anthropologist, confirmed Todaro’s identity through body imaging techniques. While the details of the search warrant remain sealed, Cambria County District Attorney Neugebauer indicated that charges concerning Todaro’s death are anticipated.

During his recent court appearance, Giles expressed a grim sense of humor about his situation. He remains the sole suspect in Todaro’s disappearance and death, highlighting a potentially broader criminal pattern.
