Kensington 7-Eleven Sells $50,000 Lottery Ticket

Montgomery County has yet another big winner in the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 game, with a $50,000 top-prize ticket sold at the local 7-Eleven. The winning ticket from the drawing on Wednesday, June 19, was purchased at the 7-Eleven store located at 10594 Metropolitan Avenue in Kensington.

The winning numbers were 6, 11, 17, 37, and 39, with a Bonus Ball of 28. Lottery officials are advising the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it securely. The winner has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.

This marks the 18th top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2024. The retailer will also receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners of prizes over $25,000 must claim their prizes either by mail or in person at the Lottery headquarters, located in the Montgomery Park Business Center at 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore. The Claims Center operates by appointment only, and appointments can be scheduled online.
