Stamford Man Charged For Multiple Carjackings

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit Squad “A” has successfully concluded its investigation into Tyssan Woods, implicating him in a series of carjacking offenses that occurred on March 26 and March 28, 2024.

The investigation, which drew on digital and forensic evidence, culminated on Tuesday, June 18, with the issuance of two arrest warrants for Woods. He faces a slew of charges including first-degree robbery, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, threatening, burglary, criminal attempt at larceny, unlawful discharge of firearms, and related conspiracy charges.

The total bond set for these charges amounts to $750,000. Woods was taken into custody and the warrants were executed at Stamford Superior Court. He currently remains detained under the supervision of the Connecticut State Correction Department.
