BALTIMORE, MD – Early morning patrolling by a Central District officer led to the arrest of two males linked to a stolen U-Haul truck. The incident occurred on June 28, 2024, around 2:45 a.m., in the 1600 block of Thames Street, Baltimore.
The officer, while on routine foot patrol, identified the U-Haul truck which had been reported as stolen from Anne Arundel County. Assistance was called, and upon the suspects’ attempt to reenter the vehicle, both were apprehended.
The suspects, a 19-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, were taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and have been charged in connection with the vehicle theft. The prompt action by the Baltimore Police Department underscores their ongoing efforts to address auto theft and related crimes in the city.
