Police Release Photo of Man Wanted for School of Rock Burglaries

PHILADELPHIA, PA—The Central Detective Division is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect involved in two consecutive burglaries at the School of Rock, located at 421 North 7th Street. The incidents occurred on June 26 and June 27, 2024, with numerous guitars and electronics reported stolen.

The suspect involved in the June 26 burglary is described as a Black male with a thin build, seen wearing all dark clothing. In the subsequent burglary on June 27, the same suspect or a different individual matching a similar description was observed wearing a blue and white hat branded with “Viamericas,” and a blue and white baseball-style jersey with “New York” and the number 2 displayed on both the front and back.

Authorities have released video footage of the individual(s) and are appealing to anyone who might have information about the suspect or the burglaries to come forward. The Philadelphia Police emphasize the importance of community assistance in resolving these incidents and urge anyone with insights to contact the Central Detective Division.
