Teenage Girl Injured in Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA—A 17-year-old girl was injured in a shooting incident in Philadelphia’s 18th District on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 9:06 PM near the intersection of 60th Street and Spruce Street.

The victim was struck once above the right eye and was promptly transported by police to Presbyterian Medical Center. She is currently in stable condition. Authorities were unable to locate the exact scene of the shooting, and both the motive and the weapon involved remain unidentified.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The investigation is actively being conducted by the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group.
