Robbery in Frederica Under Investigation

Frederica, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place on Saturday night on Sycamore Drive in Frederica.

The incident occurred on July 6, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m. when the victim, walking on Sycamore Drive, was approached by an unknown black male suspect on a bicycle. The suspect demanded money from the victim and subsequently stole the victim’s backpack. He then fled south on Sycamore Drive with the stolen property. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing. At this time, surveillance video and images of the suspect are unavailable.

The Delaware State Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
