WESTFIELD, N.J. — Officers Beal and Testa of the Westfield Police Department were dispatched to assist a turtle found crawling down East Broad Street. The incident occurred on the shoulder of the road, prompting concerns for the animal’s safety.

Officer Testa relocated the turtle to the wooded area surrounding Fairview Cemetery, ensuring its safety and saving it many hours of travel. The department shared a photo of Officer Testa with the turtle, highlighting their commitment to community and animal welfare.
