MANASSAS, VA—A potentially dangerous situation involving gunfire was reported in the 7400 block of Backus Lane, leading to a police investigation. The incident, which occurred early in the morning around 5:24 AM on July 27, involved a man firing a handgun toward another individual.
Officers responded to the scene at 8:23 PM following a report of shots fired earlier in the day. According to the investigation, the two parties involved separated shortly after the incident, and no further shots were fired.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or property damage reported in connection with the shooting. The identities of the individuals involved have not yet been determined by the authorities.
