Police Search for Missing Juvenile in Uniontown

UNIONTOWN, OH—The Uniontown Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 11-year-old Alexis Bartley, who went missing on Thursday, August 9, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Alexis was last seen leaving her foster home in the 3800 block of Sweitzer Ave NW.

Described as having strawberry blonde hair and green eyes, Alexis stands about 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 85 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white Nike T-shirt, black biking shorts, and gray Puma shoes. Authorities have issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert and notified Child Protective Services of her disappearance.

Given Alexis’s connections, there is a possibility she may be in the Akron area or its surroundings, where she has biological family. The Uniontown Police Department is requesting anyone with information about Alexis’s whereabouts to contact them at 330-699-6444 to assist in her safe return.
