by Breaking Local News Report

QUEENS, N.Y. — A grand jury has indicted Feruz Radjabov, 40, on multiple charges, including two counts of attempted murder, following a series of violent attacks on a subway platform and at a gas station in Ozone Park. Radjabov, who is undomiciled, is accused of randomly stabbing a driver and a commuter on August 7, with one of the victims remaining in critical condition.

According to the Queens District Attorney’s Office, Radjabov approached a 25-year-old man who was pumping gas at a station on North Conduit Avenue and stabbed him in the shoulder. Minutes later, he allegedly attacked a 67-year-old man on the platform of the nearby Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue A train station, stabbing him in the neck.

Both victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The 67-year-old underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries, while the 25-year-old was treated and released.

Radjabov was apprehended on the Rockaway-bound subway tracks with a knife in his possession. While in custody at the 106th Precinct, he allegedly assaulted a police officer, causing facial injuries.

If convicted on the top charges, Radjabov could face up to 65 years in prison. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 17.
