Teen Assaulted and Robbed on B&A Trail Near Marley Station Mall

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A 13-year-old boy was assaulted and robbed while riding his bicycle on the B&A Trail near Marley Station Mall on the evening of August 23, 2024. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. when the victim was approached by a group of juveniles.

The young victim reported that the group attacked him, forcibly taking his bicycle before fleeing the scene. He sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.

Northern District detectives are actively investigating the robbery and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-222-6135 or through the Tip Line at 410-222-4700. The police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any relevant details to come forward.
