NYPD Seeks Suspect in Shocking Grand Robbery of a 2-Year-Old Girl in Brooklyn Laundromat

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a grand larceny that took place in the 75th Precinct on Monday, September 2, 2024. According to police reports, the incident occurred at around 11:26 p.m. inside a laundromat located at 2540 Linden Boulevard.

In a disturbing turn of events, an unidentified woman approached a 2-year-old girl and removed a chain from the child’s neck before fleeing the scene on foot. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but the incident has left many shocked and concerned.

The suspect is described as a female with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a light blue dress and white Crocs.
