Philadelphia police investigate shooting on North 23rd Street

PHILADELPHIA — A 32-year-old woman was injured in a shooting Monday night in the 2800 block of North 23rd Street, police said. The shooting occurred around 9:23 p.m., and the woman was struck once in the left forearm.

Officers responding to the scene transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. Authorities have not made any arrests, and no weapon has been recovered.
