Two men arrested inside condemed building on Baltimore Street

CUMBERLAND, Md. — Two men were arrested on Tuesday after police found them inside a condemned building on Baltimore Street, according to a release from the Cumberland Police Department.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Baltimore Street around 10:15 a.m. after receiving information about an individual they were attempting to locate. Upon arrival, police found the building’s door open and entered, discovering two men asleep on the first floor.

Authorities identified the suspects as Tyrelle Donte Brown, 27, of Cumberland, and Timothy Hart Winkler, 40, of Keyser, W.Va. Both were arrested for being unlawfully present at the property.

Following a search, Brown was found in possession of suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, according to the release. Brown and Winkler were taken into custody and held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $500 bond each.

Both men face multiple charges, including fourth-degree burglary and trespassing. Brown faces additional drug-related charges.
