FedEx Driver Assaulted, Packages Stolen in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A FedEx delivery driver was assaulted and robbed of packages on Thursday evening while making deliveries in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County Police said.

The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on September 12, 2024, in the 7500 block of Holly Ridge Drive. Police reported that a 34-year-old driver was assaulted by a suspect who then stole packages that had just been delivered. No weapons were displayed during the robbery, authorities said.

The suspect fled the scene and was last seen heading toward a dark-colored sedan.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to identify the suspect involved.
