Juvenile suspect sought in Baltimore County shooting investigation

BALTIMORE — Baltimore County detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for a juvenile suspect in connection with a shooting that took place on September 13 in the 400 block of Dunkirk Road. The incident, which occurred during an attempted robbery, left a 50-year-old man severely wounded.

The shooting happened just after 11:30 a.m. when officers from the Towson Precinct responded to reports of gunfire in the residential area. Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit has been investigating the case and determined the shooting was related to a robbery attempt. Authorities are actively searching for the male juvenile suspect.

Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the case to contact police or submit anonymous tips through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
