PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 33-year-old man was injured in a shooting on the highway in the 1400 block of W. Chew Avenue on Tuesday evening, police said.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:03 p.m., and the victim sustained a gunshot wound to his left calf. He later walked into Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
Officers secured the scene following the shooting, but no arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered, according to police.
Authorities have not released information about a possible suspect or motive as the investigation remains ongoing.
The area remains under active investigation as police work to gather evidence and locate those responsible.
