Man killed in broad daylight shooting on N. Bambrey Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 36-year-old man was fatally shot on a highway in the 2900 block of N. Bambrey Street on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m., and the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Officers transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:27 p.m.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name or disclosed any information about a potential suspect or motive in the case.

The area was secured by police following the incident, but no arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.

Philadelphia police are continuing their investigation into the shooting.
