MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured Saturday night on the 200 block of Brownsville Road.
Police were notified of the incident at 9:21 p.m. after first responders discovered multiple spent shell casings outside a local business. Two victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, were initially transported to area hospitals, both in stable condition.
Authorities reported that the woman sustained a gunshot wound to her foot, while the man was shot in the buttocks. About two hours later, a third victim, suffering a graze wound to the arm, was located and also transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit are leading the inquiry, though details about potential suspects or motives have not yet been disclosed.
The scene remains under investigation, and police have not indicated whether the victims were targeted or if the shooting was random.
