BALTIMORE, Md. — The Mega Millions jackpot has surged to $1.15 billion after no ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing, Maryland Lottery officials announced.
While the jackpot eluded players, Maryland saw several notable winners from the Dec. 24 drawing, including a $30,000 prize ticket sold at the Royal Farms on German Hill Road in Dundalk. The winner tripled the standard $10,000 prize by opting for the Megaplier.
Additionally, three $10,000-winning tickets were sold at retailers in Bethesda, Glen Burnie, and Lexington Park. These tickets were purchased at Montgomery Mall Shell, Aquahart Liquors, and Pegg Road Shell, respectively.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 11, 14, 38, 45, 46, with a Mega Ball of 3 and a 3X Megaplier. Across Maryland, over 101,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 to $30,000. Meanwhile, a $1 million ticket from the Dec. 10 drawing, sold at a Wawa in Bel Air, remains unclaimed.
The next Mega Millions drawing on Dec. 27 offers an estimated jackpot of $1.15 billion, the fifth-largest in the game’s history, with a cash option of $516.1 million.
