SAN DIEGO — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of Seyidxan Hisen Salih on January 28, 2025, in San Diego, where he is now pending removal proceedings.
According to ICE, Salih faces charges of aggravated assault, burglary, and drug possession. Federal officials did not provide further details on his immigration status or the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
The agency has been actively pursuing the removal of individuals with criminal convictions as part of its enforcement priorities.
Authorities say Salih remains in federal custody while deportation proceedings move forward.
