Gunfire leaves 41-year-old man critically wounded in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 41-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot Saturday night in Baltimore’s Eastern District.

Officers responded around 8:50 p.m. to the 1800 block of Montford Avenue following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Due to the severity of his injuries, homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
