Man punched and robbed of scooter during late-night dispute in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. – Police are searching for a suspect who assaulted a 22-year-old man and stole his scooter during a confrontation late Friday night in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx.

The incident happened at approximately 11:11 p.m. in front of 1329 Webster Avenue. According to police, an unidentified man approached the victim and got into a verbal dispute before punching him in the face and taking his scooter by force.

The suspect then fled southbound on Webster Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries from the assault but declined hospitalization.

Authorities said the individual being sought is described as a male with a medium complexion. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
