Teens busted after SUV carjacking and armed robbery in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A pair of 15-year-old suspects were arrested Friday evening following a carjacking and armed robbery that unfolded in Northeast Baltimore and ended with a crash and foot chase.

Around 5:00 p.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Biddison Lane where a 28-year-old man reported that two unidentified individuals had carjacked his SUV. Not long after, a second report came in from the 3700 block of Ridgecroft Road, where a teenage victim had his watch and jacket forcibly taken during an armed robbery.

Police tracked the carjacked SUV to the 4100 block of Chesterfield Avenue. Witnesses reported the vehicle had crashed and that two individuals fled the scene on foot. Officers located the suspects nearby and recovered a BB gun during the arrest.

One teen charged as adult in Northeast crime spree

Both suspects were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. After their release, one suspect was charged as an adult and booked into the Central Booking Intake Facility. The second was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for detention.

The investigation into both incidents remains ongoing.
