SHELTON, CT – A lucky scratch-off ticket purchased at a local gas station in Shelton turned into a $25,000 payday for one winner, marking another top prize claimed in the 100X 2nd Edition game from the Connecticut Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at Huntington Center Gulf, located in the heart of Shelton, where the player picked up the $10 scratch game and matched for a $25,000 prize on Monday. The Connecticut Lottery confirmed the win as part of its regularly updated list of recent high-tier payouts.

The 100X 2nd Edition is part of a multiplier series of instant games offering prizes ranging from $10 to $1 million, with a total of more than $123 million in cash prizes throughout the game. The odds of winning any prize in the 100X 2nd Edition game are approximately 1 in 3.63.

The identity of the winner has not yet been publicly released. Connecticut Lottery winners typically have 180 days to claim their prize from the announced end of game date.

Huntington Center Gulf, the retailer that sold the ticket, may also qualify for a bonus commission from the lottery for selling a winning ticket of $10,000 or more.
