Tesla Cybertruck catches fire outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas, investigation underway
LAS VEGAS, NV — A Tesla Cybertruck burst into flames outside the lobby of Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Tuesday evening, drawing emergency responders and onlookers as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

The incident occurred in front of the hotel’s entrance, with smoke and flames visibly billowing from the vehicle. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue crews responded promptly to the scene and were able to contain the fire before it caused further damage.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and authorities confirmed that the hotel and its occupants were not affected. Officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire, and investigators are working to ascertain whether it was due to a mechanical issue, external factors, or foul play.
“Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire occurred in the porte cochère of Trump Las Vegas. The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority,” Eric Trump said in a statement. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism.”
Eyewitnesses described the dramatic scene, with some sharing footage of the burning vehicle on social media. Tesla representatives have not yet commented on the incident involving their highly anticipated all-electric truck.
