Surveillance video released in Northeast D.C. burglary as police hunt suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects who broke into a Northeast business during an early morning burglary, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The break-in occurred around 3:30 a.m. on February 7 in the 600 block of Rhode Island Avenue Northeast.

Investigators said multiple suspects forcibly entered the establishment, stole money and other property, and fled the area before police arrived.

Authorities released surveillance footage showing the suspects involved in the burglary as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.

Anyone who can identify the suspects or has information about the incident is asked not to approach them and instead contact police at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
