Cash 5 jackpot ticket worth more than 889K sold in Butler County

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold in Butler County for the Thursday drawing matched all five numbers to secure an $889,273.50 jackpot, setting off a search for the player holding the winning slip.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, February 12 drawing were 7, 10, 12, 17 and 37. The ticket was sold at the BP station at 225 South Main St. in Zelienople Boro. The retailer earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Lottery officials said winners can be identified only after tickets are validated and prizes are claimed. A main Cash 5 prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Quick Cash prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase.

Anyone holding the winning ticket is advised to contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on how to proceed.

More than 19,300 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the same drawing. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at authorized Lottery retailers.

The winning jackpot ticket remains unclaimed as the one-year prize window begins.
