Waldorf, MD – A Friday night football game at St. Charles High School ended in chaos after gunshots were fired in the parking lot, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said a group of juveniles was seen gathering at the game but left before it ended. Shortly after, around the time the crowd was dispersing, officers and the school resource officer on duty heard multiple gunshots outside the stadium.

No injuries were reported, though one vehicle was struck by gunfire. Witnesses saw several juveniles fleeing the scene as officers canvassed the area.

The sheriff’s office confirmed the game concluded without further incident, but the investigation remains active. Detectives are reviewing evidence and pursuing leads.
