Late night Brooklyn robbery nets suspects thousands in cash
Brooklyn, NY – Two men walking on a Brooklyn street at night were suddenly confronted by armed robbers who pulled guns, demanded cash, and fled with thousands of dollars before disappearing into the neighborhood.
The robbery occurred Monday, April 13, at approximately 10:30 p.m. in front of 532 East 95th Street, according to NYPD Crimestoppers.
Police said a 30-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were approached by two unidentified suspects who displayed firearms and demanded money.
During the confrontation, one suspect forcibly removed approximately $2,500 from the older victim’s pants pocket, while the second victim handed over $200 to the other armed suspect.
After taking the cash, the suspects fled on foot northbound along East 95th Street toward Willmohr Street.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
The suspects remain unidentified, and investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating them.
