The visiting Brick Memorial High School girls basketball team led 17-2 at the end of the first quarter Tuesday and held on to defeat Red Bank Regional, 45-42.

Emily Dominguez scored 14 points and Samantha Bialoblocki added 13 for the Mustangs, who had a six-point lead at halftime.

Grace Dengler led all scorers with 16 points for the Bucs.
