Lottery ticket wins $828K jackpot in Bel Air as FAST PLAY winner cashes in big

BEL AIR, Md. — A Maryland lottery player is celebrating a massive win after a FAST PLAY ticket turned into an $828,616 jackpot in Harford County, officials said.

The winning Super 777 Progressive ticket was purchased at a Royal Farms on Churchville Road, delivering one of the game’s biggest prizes to date.

Lottery officials said the retailer will also receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The identity of the winner has not been released, and it remains unclear if the prize has been claimed.

The Super 777 FAST PLAY game, which launched in September, continues to build jackpots with each ticket sold until a winner hits the top prize.

This marks only the second jackpot win for the game, following a Dundalk player who previously scored a $685,656 prize.

Lottery officials are reminding winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them secure, as prizes must be claimed within 182 days.

Prizes over $25,000 must be claimed through Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, either in person by appointment or by mail.
