MANSFIELD, OH — A Pick 5 player in Mansfield struck big in the Ohio Lottery’s May 4 midday drawing, claiming a total prize of $50,417 by matching the winning numbers on two identical tickets.

Jesse, the winning player, selected the numbers 1-9-2-6-8 and placed a $0.50 wager using a 120-way back-up bet. He purchased two of the same tickets for the drawing, with each one paying out $25,208.50.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Jesse will take home approximately $36,300.24.
