NJ teen vanishes near middle school as frantic search intensifies in Middlesex Borough

Police are asking the public to help find a missing 15-year-old last seen Tuesday morning

MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, N.J. — A search is underway in Middlesex Borough after a 15-year-old girl disappeared near her middle school Tuesday morning, prompting police to urgently ask the public for help locating her.

The Middlesex Borough Police Department said Hadasa Hernandez-Moran was last seen at approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Von E. Mauger Middle School.

Investigators said the teen was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers when she was last seen.

Police described Hadasa as approximately 5 feet tall and weighing about 100 pounds.

Authorities have not released additional details surrounding her disappearance, but detectives are actively investigating and asking residents to remain alert for any sightings or information connected to the case.
