LAUREL, MD — A woman is in critical condition after being shot in a late-night attack along Laurel Bowie Road, sparking an active investigation by local authorities.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight Wednesday in the 12700 block of Laurel Bowie Road. Responding officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately had her transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
Investigators have not identified any suspects or shared details about what may have led to the gunfire. No arrests have been made as detectives continue to gather evidence and piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
