Two Juveniles Charged with Attempted Murder after Shooting

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On August 25, 2021, at approximately 3:29 a.m., Central District officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 400 block of Laurens Street to investigate a reported shooting. Responding officers discovered a 24 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Central District Shooting detectives investigated the incident and learned that the victim was shot during a home invasion robbery. Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified two juvenile suspects and obtained arrest warrants.

On August 31, 2021, detectives arrested a 16 year-old male and on September 29, 2021 detectives arrested a 17 year-old male. The two juveniles were remanded into custody and formally charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
